Cnc Lathe Machinist

Job Title: Lathe Machinist Job Description We are seeking a skilled setup machinist to join our team in Anaheim, CA. Our machine shop specializes in custom gears, machined parts, and assemblies for various industries, including aerospace, defense, medical, commercial oil, power, and automotive. Responsibilities • Read blueprints and check part dimensions with appropriate measuring instruments. • Accurately use measuring tools and understand necessary company procedures relevant to the position. • Perform in-process inspection of machined parts. • Collaborate with the Supervisor and Quality Department to ensure parts meet customer specifications. Essential Skills • Proficiency with CNC Okuma's; LT300MY, LB3000, and L250. • Experience with aerospace parts and inspection tools/methods with tolerances up to .0005''. • Excellent communication skills and proven problem-solving abilities. • 2+ years' experience in a precision machining environment (Operator) or a minimum of 5 years (Setup). Additional Skills & Qualifications • Mastercam experience is a plus. • Ability to make adjustments at the machine. • Light setup knowledge with G code or Mastercam experience. Why Work Here? CNC Machine Operator

POSITION TYPE: Full-Time/Regular and able to work overtime. EXPECTED WORK HOURS: Monday - Friday Day Shift: 5:00AM - 3:30PM Night Shift: 3:30PM - 2:00AM Saturday Day Shift: 5:00AM -10:30AM Night Shift: 12:00PM - 5:00PM ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Operate CNC Mills, Lathes, Mill-Turn etc. in production of complex parts • Works from drawings, sketches, or verbal instructions to produce work to close tolerances. • Uses appropriate shop math and trig to develop proper methods, and through experience and training is able to select appropriate feeds, speeds, and tools. • Has thorough knowledge of use and application of inspection tools and gages to insure part conformance to drawing requirements • Uses and interprets appropriate statistical quality data and is able to identify quality problems through use of said data PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT: • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. • The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and arms to handle, feel, as well as reach. • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

CNC Machinist - Evening Shift

SHIFT Evening Shift POSITION OVERVIEW The CNC Machinist I role is vital for our medical device production line, operating and performing basic setups on CNC 2 and 3 Axis machines. This involves identifying X, Y, Z, and 0 coordinates while managing multiple CNC machines such as Lathes, EDM Wire, and Plunge machines. This role also includes operating manual machine tools to cut, drill, shape, and finish quality products under moderate supervision. Previous experience in CNC Machining within a manufacturing environment is required. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Report directly to the area Supervisor. • Conduct basic machining tasks to produce high-quality parts. • Simultaneously operate multiple machines. • Monitor machine performance and ensure correct program execution. • Complete shop work orders, inspection documentation, and daily maintenance sheets. • Make offsets and adjustments to machines with moderate supervision. • Promote health and safety for oneself, co-workers, customers, and the community. • Support quality and compliance by adhering to procedures and work instructions per the Quality Management Systems (QMS). • Attend and complete all required training sessions.
