Reporting to the Director of CNC Manufacturing, the CNC Machinist will be responsible for producing varied, complex, and accurate tooling to supply prints to satisfy internal and external customers and for ensuring the production of complex, high-quality metallic and non-metallic parts. 1st shift is on Monday - Friday from 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Key Duties And Responsibilities • Operate and Perform CNC machine setups quickly, accurately, and efficiently. • Knowledge of Haas, Mazak, Grob and Kern CNC Machines and controls. • Understanding of GD&T • Use measurement tools to verify dimensions for compliance • Interpret and follow work orders • Understanding of mathematics. • Attention to detail and self-motivation. • Collaborate with senior machinists and CNC programmers to improve machining processes and efficiencies • Work and perform responsibilities in compliance with safety guidelines and wearing all PPE as needed for equipment interaction • Perform all other machining duties as assigned Qualification And Skills • 4+ years of proven experience as a CNC operator • High school diploma or GED • Proven experience as CNC operator • Skill in operating HAAS CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools • Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings • Computer savvy with basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM • Mechanical aptitude and good math skills • A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach • Good communication abilities Your actual level and base salary will be determined case-by-case and may vary based on the job-related qualification, knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
