See More Details >>About the position The HVAC Technician I position at the University of Central Missouri is a full-time role that involves performing general maintenance work in the operation and repair of HVAC equipment under the supervision of the Planned Maintenance Supervisor, HVAC III Technician, or HVAC II Technician. The technician will be responsible for repairing fan coil units and ventilation fans, as well as conducting preventive maintenance on assigned equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This position is critical in maintaining the comfort and safety of the university's facilities, requiring a proactive approach to identifying and resolving HVAC issues. In addition to routine maintenance tasks, the HVAC Technician I will be expected to demonstrate a strong attention to detail and effective communication skills, both oral and written. The role may involve working in various environments, including exposure to extreme temperatures, fumes, and heights, necessitating a good level of physical fitness and the ability to lift weights up to 70 lbs.
