Why Conagra Brands – Marshall? • Wages up to $27.89 per hour + up to $5.50 per hour attendance bonus & shift differential • Overtime Eligibility (based on business needs) • Excellent benefit package • Up to 10 paid Holidays per year • 401K and vacation • Employee Assistance Program • Company Store You Will: • Troubleshoot, remove, install, replace, re-build, repair, & test parts/components on plant & production equipment. • Perform basic welding, fabrication, and machining tasks, as well as, read blueprints, drawing and plans. • Troubleshoot and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment involving ammonia & other refrigerants. • Perform daily check of all refrigeration systems as required. • Replace, repair and maintain all energy systems, boilers, ammonia systems, coolers, air compressors, HVAC systems and apparatus. • Clean evaporators and condensers as scheduled, change recorder charts and maintain recording equipment. • Monitor, repair, clean plant systems, water condensers, evaporators, dump traps, accumulators, sight glasses and filtration systems. • Keep mechanical equipment in good condition and working order. • Inspect machines and equipment to locate problems, replace defective parts, and make necessary adjustments to ensure a continuous production operation. • Use manuals, repair manuals, parts manuals, parts diagrams to troubleshoot plant & production equipment. • Use hand & power tools to remove, install, replace, re-build, repair, & test parts/equipment on plant & production equipment. • Perform electrical and/or pneumatic work on production machines. You Have: • High school diploma or GED • 1 year mechanic experience in a manufacturing or production environment & electrical experience. • Ability to work the scheduled/assigned days and hours including required overtime. • Carry and push/pull up to 50 pounds. • Ability to read and write English for completion of production/quality documents. • Familiar with and ability to use basic shop equipment, electric arc welder, plasma cutter, torch and basic hand tools.
