HVAC Technician Journeyman Ultimate LLC is looking to hire a HVAC Journeymen for commercial and residential projects in the Sedalia, MO. The pay range of a HVAC Journeyman is $25-30 per hour based on experience. The majority of our position’s hours range from 45 to 50 hours a week. HVAC Service applicants must have a personal vehicle and be prepared for HVAC labor up to 40+ hours a week. Ultimate HVAC Journeyman Requirements • 18+ Years of Age • EPA Certification Preferred • Valid driver's license • 3+ years Commercial HVAC experience • Ability to lift 50+ pounds if necessary • Ability to use proper hand tools Ultimate HVAC Journeyman Standards • Maintain a professional attitude • Appropriate PPE (Hard hat, vest, steel toe boots) • Quality Craftsmanship • Arrive on time with a great attitude everyday Ultimate HVAC Journeyman Responsibilities • Clean, adjust, and repair HVAC systems • Ensure condensation drain line is clear and working properly • Troubleshoot defective systems and make corrections • Identify and correct faulty equipment • Fixing, replacing, and adjusting vents and ductwork • Ensure compliance with appliance standards in Health and Safety Act Ultimate LLC holds all HVAC technicians to a high standard of professionalism in the field, as well as high quality and reliable work during each part of their project. Responsibilities include classroom and lab instruction, curriculum support, student engagement, industry alignment, and support of the program’s broader goals. Essential Duties: • Provide engaging instruction in HVAC/R theory and hands-on practice in accordance with program curriculum and industry standards. • Prepare and deliver lectures, assignments, assessments, and lab activities. • Foster a safe and effective learning environment in the classroom and lab. • Support students in developing technical competencies and soft skills essential to workforce readiness. • Participate in curriculum review and improvement efforts. • Stay current with trends in HVAC/R technology, equipment, and certification requirements. • Collaborate with full-time faculty, program advisory committees, and administration to ensure instruction aligns with workforce needs. • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and institutional policies including, but not limited to grade and attendance submission deadlines. • Attend orientation, onboarding, and professional development sessions as required. • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress ensuring confidentiality of student records. • Maintain regular availability for student assistance during student support hours outside of class/lab time. • Follow maintenance procedures for program facilities and equipment. • Participate in faculty/college meetings and events. • Other duties as deemed necessary for the function of the college.
