This role has wide ranging responsibilities including low/medium voltage power, HVAC system and controls, EPA certificate, mechanical system troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, emergency response, general maintenance, carpentry, and maintaining plumbing system. Primary responsibilities will include electrical/mechanical support for power systems, lighting systems and controls, and other facility subsystems and support tools. What your day-to-day will look like: Equipment Management: • This includes maintaining and repairing air handling units, exhaust fans, fume hoods, fan coil units, reheat coils, and other associated mechanical equipment. • Additional duties will include troubleshooting customer service calls for temperature comfort inside our buildings. Maintaining accuracy of system documentation and limited support of new installation projects may be required. • Performance of ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, plumbing, and other installed systems, equipment, and other components. • Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations. • General interior maintenance – light plumbing, hang pictures, install keyboard trays, repair office furniture systems, replace ceiling tiles, and repair doors. • Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment and/or as directed • Moves office furniture, machinery, equipment and other materials as requested • Set up conference rooms and/or the conference center for events - as requested. • Assist the Electrician on the team occasionally with light electrical & lighting work • Clean HVAC coils, change filters and belts - and assist the on-site HVAC technician as needed. • Complete Hazard Assessments as necessary • Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them. • Maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws. Must complete all required safety trainings as scheduled • Complies with all policies for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials. Work Environment: • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb up to 30 ft ladders. • Position requires frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and driving. Experience and technical skills: Required: • High School graduation or GED is required. • Minimum 3 years field experience with trade school training or 5 years total field experience. • Troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills. • EPA Universal Certification. Preferred: • Experience using CMMS Corrigo Work Order systemExperience with any Building Management System.
