Essential Functions • Install HVAC and refrigeration equipment according to the manufacturer’s specifications • Design, fabricate, and install various ducts and duct fittings as required • Measure and cut various sizes of pipe to correct lengths with oxyacetylene torch or pipe-cutting machines and saws • Cut or drill holes in floor/walls for installation of equipment. Use proper tools to measure, cut, thread, or bend pipe or tubing • Wire and test electrical safety circuits or components for continuity • Oversight of the crew on the job site • Communication with customer • Material and equipment inventory • Completion of all paperwork required for each job • Timely completion and accuracy of all work • Adherence to safety regulations and company policies • Performs other duties as directed by Install Manager Job Requirements • 5 years of experience with residential and commercial HVAC system installation • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required • EPA & NATE certification preferred • HVAC certification or diploma preferred • Valid driver’s license and approval to drive by the company’s insurance carrier required Physical Demands • May be exposed to inclement weather conditions and other work conditions, including excessive heat, cold, wind, snow, and storms • Requires extensive standing, walking, kneeling, and bending • May be required to lift items in excess of 50 lbs • Frequently exposed to noise, dust, dirt, and other related hazards Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities required of the employee for this job. OSHA 10 or 30 safety certification is a plus. • Other: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required; may require a clean background check or drug test.
