As an HVAC Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial construction projects from concept through to final proposal. Key Responsibilities: • Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and drawings for HVAC scope of work. • Perform quantity take-offs, material and labor pricing, and subcontractor/vendor outreach. • Develop detailed and competitive cost estimates for ground-up commercial projects. • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates align with project goals. • Prepare proposals and bid submissions within tight deadlines. • Track and update project costs throughout pre-construction phases. • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients. Requirements: • 5+ years of experience as an HVAC Estimator (commercial projects preferred). • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and installation methods. • Familiarity with estimating software and tools (e.g., Trimble, Bluebeam, QuickPen, or similar). • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents. • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
