The Commercial HVAC Service Manager is located at Quality Heating and Air (QH&A) in Wilmington, Delaware and will lead the establishment and operation of a new commercial service department. This hands-on leadership role involves sales, estimating, scheduling, and project supervision to ensure superior service delivery and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial HVAC systems, proven success in managing service teams, building long-term client relationships, driving sales and maintaining the highest standards in safety, quality, and productivity. Key Responsibilities Team Management: • Supervise operations staff, including field technicians and administrative personnel. • Conduct monthly safety meetings in collaboration with the Safety Manager. • Partner with Talent Acquisition to recruit, interview, and onboard technicians. Qualifications and Skills: Required Minimum Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent. • At least 10 years of experience in commercial HVAC-R or plumbing. • Minimum of 3 years in a leadership or management role. • Expertise in commercial HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems in a service environment. • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead teams and present effectively. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-specific software. • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain high standards under pressure. • Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with an acceptable driving record. • Successful completion of drug and criminal background screenings.
