Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Residential HVAC Service Technician with a strong background in HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems for our diverse clientele. • Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and install HVAC components/equipment. • Perform service projects/small jobs from beginning to completion. • Ensure total customer satisfaction throughout the service process. • Installation and commission of a wide variety of HVAC equipment. • Perform maintenance of HVAC equipment. • Establish and maintain clear communications with customers while both on and off the customer job sites. • Assist in maintaining inventory for the individual service vehicle. • Promote and perform all aspects of Ghost Mechanical’s safety procedures and policies. Qualifications: • Minimum 2 years of experience working with HVAC systems • Valid EPA Certification. • Effective verbal and written communication skills. • Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment. • Versed in the industry and the company’s competitors. • Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary. • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Position Summary Perform all required operations to maintain, repair and monitor facility HVAC systems. Essential Functions Maintain, repair and troubleshoot facility HVAC equipment so that it continues to operate efficiently. Order required materials for HVAC system maintenance. Perform inspections with proper documentation on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills and wrenches to precision measuring instruments. Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them using repair manuals, parts catalogs and other maintenance literature as necessary. Execute emergency procedures on facility equipment as needed and be "on call" for off duty emergency repairs. Recommend and help order equipment and supplies for facility maintenance items. This position must be willing to work different shift assignment, for extended periods. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all EPC safety/Environmental, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Lean 5S policies and regulation guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills and Experience High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution. A minimum of (5) years' experience in an industrial/ facility maintenance environment. Must be able to safely operate a scissor lift, fork lift, etc. Use a personal computer to communicate by e-mail, use EPC software programs such as MSOffice, SharePoint, Agile, etc. as needed. Must be able to routinely lift 50lbs and be able to work from elevated heights. Ability to follow detailed instructions and be detailed oriented. Ability to document and communicate effectively.
