Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems. This role requires a strong technical background, great problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. The technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities • Install new HVAC systems and components according to manufacturer specifications and local codes. • Perform routine maintenance on heating and cooling systems to ensure efficiency and longevity. • Diagnose and repair malfunctions in HVAC equipment, including refrigeration units and air conditioning systems. • Conduct inspections of HVAC and refrigeration systems to identify potential issues or necessary repairs. • Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed on equipment. • Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related issues in a timely manner. • Provide exceptional customer service while communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC and refrigeration needs. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working on-site. Skills • Proficiency in HVAC and refrigeration system installation, maintenance, and repair. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. • Experience with ammonia refrigeration is a plus. • Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC and refrigeration systems. • Ability to operate as a field service technician, demonstrating effective time management skills. • Competence in equipment repair, including welding skills when necessary. • Valid driver's license with the ability to operate a van for transportation between job sites. • Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members effectively.
