HVAC Service Technician 3 Job Description HVAC Service Technician Howell Chase Heating & Air Conditioning is growing & looking for certified & experienced HVAC technicians! The right candidate must have the following: Can accurately diagnose and repair HVAC related problems. Organized and pays attention to detail. Displays exceptional time management skills. Service & maintenance experience on mostly Residential but also some Light Commercial equipment. Must be able to present & promote beneficial products & services to customers Holds a strong focus for customer service. Knowledge & experience with selling IAQ products and equipment. Must be EPA certified. Proficient with current cutting-edge technology (Inverter drive/variable speed heat pumps). On-Call after hours service rotation required (only 5-6 total on-call weeks per year) -Must have Team Ability and possess the ability to function as part of a team, placing the needs of the whole above the needs of the self. -Must have Drive and the unrelenting need for achievement and constant self-improvement. -Must be Adaptable and possess the ability to adjust accordingly to the situation, learn new things, innovate, and try new methods. -Must have Emotional Strength with a positive attitude, high empathy, and control over one's own emotions especially in chaotic and stressful situations.(This may require occasional overtime, night and/or weekend hours).
