This HVAC position will work with other maintenance personnel to maintain the resorts heating/cooling systems at a peak performance level. We’re an energetic company and are looking for a reliable and skilled individual to join our organization. This position is primarily responsible for performing installs, repairs and maintenance to a variety of equipment including: refrigeration, air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, compressors, and light commercial furnaces. Some of the job duties include but are not limited to: • Comply with all applicable standards, policies and procedures, including safety and maintenance of a clean work area. • Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring. • Resemble and test equipment following repairs • Inspect and test system to verify system compliance with plans and specifications to detect and locate malfunctions • Record and report all faults, deficiencies and other unusual occurrences, as well as the time and materials expended on work orders. • Test pipe or tubing joints and connections for leaks. • Install auxiliary components to heating-cooling equipment, such as expansion and discharge valves, air ducts, pipes, blowers, dampers, flues following blueprints. • Assist with other work in coordination with repair and maintenance teams. • Install, connect and adjust thermostats and timers, using hand tools. • Generate work orders that address deficiencies in need of correction • Assemble, position, and mount heating and cooling equipment. • Cut and drill holes in floors, walls and roof to install equipment, using power saws and drills (as needed) • Wrap pipes in insulation • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe or tubing, using pipefitter’s tools. • Fabricate, assemble and install duct work using metal-working tools and welding equipment.
