About us Seven 2 Seven Mechanical LLC is a small business in Concord, NC. We are looking for an experienced lead technician with amble knowledge and experience in the HVAC field to join our team. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems Repair or replace defective parts in HVAC systems Keep accurate records of all work performed Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations Requirements: Proven experience as an HVAC Technician (3 years+) Hard working and motivated Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to read and interpret schematics and design specifications Familiarity with HVAC/R systems and components Knowledge of property maintenance and repair techniques (a plus, but not required) Ability to troubleshoot and critical thinking skills Valid Driver’s license with a clean driving record Ability to pass a background check Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. HVAC Technician/PM

General Definition of Work Non-Exempt Performs skilled trades work installation, repair and maintenance of Heating and Air Conditioning Units for all school facilities, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the HVAC supervisor. Available after hours when needed. Qualification Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Salary Grade NC16 Reports to HVAC Maintenance Manager Essential Functions • Service and repair HVAC systems (boilers, chiller, air conditioners, heat pumps, etc.) • Performs preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment. • Installs exhaust fans or repairs fans. Changes motors, belts, bearings and pulleys. • Be responsible for maintaining heating and air conditioning equipment. • Be willing to help with other maintenance work when needed. • Keep a close inventory of equipment and supplies. • Be responsible for keeping service truck in good order, both mechanically and the parts stored inside of truck. • Replace filters. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • Thorough knowledge of the materials, equipment, tools and techniques used in the installation, maintenance, allocation and repair of HVAC and electrical equipment. • Thorough knowledge of applicable local, state and federal laws, rules and guidelines. • Thorough knowledge of the safety hazards of the work and of the necessary safety precautions. • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions. • Ability to read diagrams and blueprints. • Ability to use standard tools and equipment of the trade. • Ability to direct the work of others. • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates. • Ability to climb a ladder. • Ability to use a computer including Microsoft office suite software or willingness to learn. Education and Experience • Experience heating and air conditioning repair or combination of education and experience. • Must hold NC driver’s license and maintain good driving record. • Full knowledge of heating and air conditioning equipment and all related control systems. Physical Requirements • This work regularly requires standing, walking, speaking or hearing, using hands to finger, handle or feel, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, reaching with hands and arms, pushing, pulling and lifting. • Must be able to operate a motor • Must be able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 25 pounds of force constantly to move objects. • Physical demand requirements are those for Medium Special Requirements Must possess a valid North Carolina driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record.
