Job Summary We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, including air conditioning and ammonia refrigeration, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics. The HVAC Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings. • Troubleshoot issues with heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems. • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to understand system designs. • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards during service operations. • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions regarding HVAC systems. • Collaborate with other technicians and field service teams to complete projects efficiently. • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and equipment maintenance logs. Requirements • Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the field service industry. • Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems, ammonia refrigeration, and plumbing principles. • Ability to read schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC installations. • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is preferred. • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues. • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. • Certification in HVAC technology or relevant training is a plus but not mandatory.
