Job Summary We are seeking a skilled New Construction HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair, with at least 3 years experience. This position requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties. Duties • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration systems. • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in HVAC systems using schematics and technical manuals. • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation. • Conduct field service visits to assess customer needs and provide solutions. • Repair or replace defective components using appropriate tools and techniques. • Collaborate with other trades such as plumbing and electrical to complete projects effectively. • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. • Adhere to safety protocols while working on-site. Experience • Proven experience as an HVAC technician or similar role is preferred. • Familiarity with HVAC design principles and mechanical systems. • Experience in construction or property maintenance is a plus. • Proficient in using tools such as ohmmeters, welding equipment, and hand tools for repairs. • Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is an advantage. • Background in appliance repair or field service work is beneficial. • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
