Job Duties and Responsibilities of Refrigeration / HVAC Maintenance Developmental Technician: • Assist senior technicians in troubleshooting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC/R equipment. • Perform preventive maintenance and ensure availability of necessary resources, including refrigerant levels and parts inventory. • Manage parts inventory by tracking, ordering, and building relationships with suppliers and contractors. • Support the inspection of installations and modifications to uphold quality and performance standards. Qualifications and Experience of Refrigeration / HVAC Maintenance Developmental Technician: • HVAC/R Vocational or Technical Certification. • Type I and Type II Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification for refrigerant handling. • Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report. • Preferred: Mechanical maintenance or construction-related field experience in commercial HVAC/R and building controls.
