Overview: We are seeking an EXPERIENCED HVAC Installer or Service Technician to join our team. As an HVAC employee, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, using a range of diagnostic tools, including an ohmmeter. - Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure they are functioning efficiently and safely. - Design and install new HVAC systems, taking into account factors such as building layout, insulation, and air quality. - Work closely with plumbers and other tradespeople to ensure that HVAC systems are properly connected to other building systems. - Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs, including notes on the condition of the system and any issues that arise. - Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. - Stay up to date with the latest developments in HVAC technology and best practices. - Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly to customer inquiries and addressing any concerns in a professional and courteous manner. Requirements: - Experience as an HVAC Service Technician or Installer, with a strong understanding of HVAC systems and principles. - Ability to maintain HVAC systems, including routine maintenance and repair work. - Familiarity with field service and the ability to work independently. - Knowledge of local building codes and regulations. - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment. - High school diploma or equivalent. - HVAC certification, or willingness to obtain certification. - Strong communication and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. - Clean driving record.
