Writes purchasing documents and maintains a PO log. • Ensures all cGMP refrigeration and maintenance work is performed in accordance with all applicable OFD compliance and FDA regulations. • Fabricates and repairs cGMP equipment while always maintaining the corrosion resistance standards for stainless and aluminum pharmaceutical grade equipment. Repairs, maintenance, or troubleshooting performed under cGMP conditions will be performed while fully gowned in cGMP apparel and may also require compliance documentation, which must be completed in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will be a skilled and dependable technician with at least four years of experience in ammonia refrigeration and general equipment maintenance within a manufacturing environment. This individual will have hands-on experience maintaining and/or repairing canning and packing equipment, boilers, compressors, hydraulic systems, and vacuum systems. This individual will have a current RETA (Refrigerating Engineers and Technicians Association) certification or have the ability to obtain. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently. Completion of a state-certified course, LME apprenticeship, and additional skills in electronics, computers, or a degree in Applied Science (A/S or B/S) are highly desirable.
