Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Organize projects in the field and maintain active knowledge of project parameters. Obtain and study the project drawings and specifications. Including the scope of work as defined by our contract with the General contractor. Maintain open communication with the General contractor and attend project meetings. Maintain record documents and approved submittals. Notify the project manager if there are missing submittals. Maintain project schedule and notify project manager of manpower needs daily for the following week. Review materials needed for the job well in advance. Notify Purchasing agent of all materials needed and receive purchase orders for all materials and equipment. When materials arrive on site, review the packing list and report any deficiencies.
