Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. Skilled Electrician

Position Overview: The Journey-level Electrician is an electrical craftsman that performs a wide range of skills including installation of complex electrical systems, troubleshooting, repair, demolition, maintenance, layout, cleanup, remodel or other related activities in a safe manner. These activities are safely performed in a variety of settings including construction, existing facilities, roadways, industrial, healthcare, service, commercial. governmental and other facets of the electrical industry. State licensure is helpful but not required. Anyone who can document 4 years of experience in electrical construction Essential Job Functions: • Performs work required for the repair, maintenance, installation, and modernization of electrical systems for buildings, equipment and grounds. • Performs work of a skilled variety demanding a high degree of manual and technical competency. • Locates and determines electrical malfunctions using test equipment. • Repairs malfunctions by such methods as replacing burned out elements, fuses, and replacing defective wiring, cleaning and repairing motors. • Tests electrical equipment, such as, motors, heaters, and controls for safety and efficiency, using standard test equipment and by observing functions. • Installs fixtures, wiring conduits, motors, and other electrical equipment. • Inspects circuits for specified shielding and grounding. • Knowledge of security and fire alarm systems. • Performs other duties as may be required. • Perform manual labor as required that may include: • Manual excavation • Bending Pipe • Pulling wire • Lifting 50 pounds • Working with hands overhead • Using heavy equipment • Using power tools Position Requirements: • Have minimum 1,200 field hours that are documented and verifiable on a commercial job site. • High school diploma or equivalent. • Thorough knowledge of the electrical trade. • Requires initiative and ingenuity to analyze a situation and to make frequent technical decisions based on specifications and electrical codes. • Ability to sustain considerable physical effort at frequent intervals. • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship. TheElectrician Masterperforms a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy.
