Through our Apprenticeship Program, you will work toward earning your Journeyman's License while contributing to high-quality installations, repairs, and maintenance. WHAT YOU'LL DO • Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial electrical equipment and systems. • Assess the condition of electrical equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and determine necessary repairs. • Work with and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and job specifications. • Identify and prepare appropriate materials and quantities for repair or installation projects. • Use the Straight Forward Pricing Guide to present repair or installation options to customers and perform safety inspections. You’ll work under licensed Journeymen/Master Electricians to install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems on commercial/industrial projects while logging hours toward licensure. What You’ll Do • Install, bend, and terminate conduit and conductors (EMT/RMC/MC). • Set panels, gear, devices, lighting, and controls to spec. • Read/interpret prints, one-lines, risers, and submittals. • Perform testing (continuity, megger, load checks) and basic troubleshooting. • Follow all safety standards (LOTO, PPE, ladder/scaffold, energized work protocols). • Document work (daily reports, material needs) and support site cleanup.
