The Master Electrician will be responsible for installs and services of electrical systems, observing company safety guidelines, documenting each project and updating client records, and training apprentices. Electrical / Power Equipment Lead

The DC Power Technician performs work associated with the addition and/or removal of communications power equipment (rectifiers, batteries, cabinets). Run, lace and terminate power, ground cable, and alarm connections as well as construction of infrastructure related to DC power systems. This role assists with project coordination while interfacing with customers and field representatives to monitor all installation requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Install DC Power installations (Charger, UPS, and Battery) being performed by Telecom personnel according to customer and manufacturer specifications • Install DC power plant upgrades and replacements related to primary and secondary distribution equipment including PBD’s, BDFB’s, BDCBB’s, inverters &converters • Read and interpret detailed specifications and install battery plants (24VDC, 48VDC, 130VDC and UPS) • Assure work standards while installing ironwork and cable rack with knowledge of zone 4 environment requirements • Running, lacing, and crimping lugs for power cable and all other duties associated with the installation and maintenance of DC power • Troubleshoot, test and inspect all types of DC (Charger, UPS, and Battery) systems Perform work related tasks according to company guidelines for scheduled maintenance • Assure work standards by training, develop skills to increase morale and maintain a safe, healthy and productive work environment • Estimate, requisition, and inspect materials • Perform activities requested by the Lead installer • Interpret company policies to personnel and enforce safety regulations in adherence to OSHA safety standards Managerial Responsibility: • This position can require assistance to the Lead in managing lower level personnel. Physical Demands: • Travel away from home for several weeks may be required on demand. • Shift work required on demand Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. • Ability to work outdoors, on ladders, and in confined spaces • Ability to work with and around electrical wires and components and/or ESD products • Ability to work remotely at construction or installation sites Skills and Abilities Required: • Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies and their potential application on client engagements • Experience leading teams installing, replacing and maintaining battery plants (VRLA, Wet Cells, NiCADs & alternative battery systems) • Experience with BDFB/BDCBB installations and Battery growth installs • Ability to perform work without constant oversight by Lead installer • Operate in a safe manner in accordance with published safety guidelines • Ability to suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew • Ability to evaluate site conditions to include environmental temperature and general operating conditions without supervision • Ability to recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product • Ability to read and interpret electrical line diagrams and blueprints • Solid foundation of OHM’s law and electronic theory • Thorough working knowledge of equipment used in the maintenance and testing of batteries and UPS systems, including but not limited to cell order, MK4,digital/mechanical hydrometers, DVM and accessories, DLRO, load test equipment and OScopes • Excellent working knowledge of electricity UPS theory and the electro-chemical theory of batteries Education and Experience Required: • High School Diploma required; Associates or Bachelor’s degree in electrical field or engineering preferred or military equivalent • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in hands-on UPS and DC battery services installing -48V and +24V standalone power systems Work experience in ISO/TL 9000 certified operations Job Types: Full-time, Temporary Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Vision insurance Work Location: In person

Industrial Electrician

SUMMARY The Instrument Technician is an hourly position, and reports to the Electrical Supervisor. The employee is responsible for troubleshooting electrical/electronic industrial plant equipment. • Pay: $40.05hr • Shift: Rotating • Benefits: Medical, Dental, 401k, Vision, Life Insurance • Company Bonus: Quarterly Bonus Principal Duties and Responsibilities: • Leads, Assists and performs the duties of the Electrical craft apprentice under the direction and authority of management • Performs any electrical, electronic and instrument work regarding the diagnosis, installation, testing and repair of electronic and solid state concepts(including but not limited to printed circuit boards, computer interface equipment, advanced scope and test equipment, transducers, DC drive systems, bushing controls and synchronous motor controls programmable controllers , etc.). • Maintains, constructs, installs, repairs and calibrates any plant electrical, instrument, and metering equipment. • Participates in the preventive and predictive maintenance programs for any plant electrical, electronic and instrument equipment or control system. • Performs original electrical/electronic layouts and circuit designs. • Works from information obtained from engineering drawings, electrical diagrams, simple and complex sketches as well as other related documents • Troubleshoots electrical, electronic and instrument systems. • Completes records and reports. • Applies protective coatings to equipment fabricated, modified, maintained, etc. • Participates in the safety and good housekeeping programs established within the plant. • Completes Work Orders, Activity Reports, and Work Logs in the Computerized Maintenance System (CMMS) • Performs other related duties consistent with the nature of the job as directed by management • Works in an efficient self directed manner to resolve electrical issues that plague the plant or a specific process.
