Electrical Journeyman

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical Journeyman 01 or 02 to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical work, focusing on residential. This role requires proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints, as well as hands-on experience with various electrical systems. The Journeyman will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical installations and repairs. Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in compliance with local codes and regulations. • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems. • Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and logic controllers. • Ensure all work is performed according to safety standards and best practices. • Document work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and installations. Experience • Proven experience as a residential electrician. • Familiarity with reading schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. • Proficient in using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters. • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Current Idaho journeyman license a strong plus! Electrical Foreman

Hiring Journeyman Electricians What you will be doing… • Assist with commercial, industrial, and residential new construction and service jobs • Install and terminate conduit and cable. • Locate and install equipment, panels, sensors and other control components and devices. • Fabricate control panels, wiring check-out. • Lay out circuits, set up breaker and panel boxes, and install fixtures and lights as well as other electrical equipment. • Participate in job site final walk through. • Provide input relating to the resolution of any design or installation issues. • Ensure all electrical work is in compliance with applicable regulations and trade practices.
