Journeyman Electrician/Project Manager

Position Summary: We are growing Sandpoint, Idaho electrical company seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician/Project Manager. Must have proven experience in the field and ability to oversee operations through project managing, leading crews, estimating, quoting, and invoicing. This position goes beyond the tools and is ideal for an experienced professional who wants to manage projects from start to finish while still being hands-on in the field when necessary. Key Responsibilities: Electrical Work: • Perform residential and commercial electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance. • Ensure all work meets local/national electrical codes and safety standards. • Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair electrical systems with efficiency and accuracy. Project Management: • Oversee small to mid-size electrical projects from planning through completion. • Coordinate scheduling, labor, materials, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. • Act as the primary point of contact for clients during active projects. Estimating & Quoting: • Conduct job walks and site assessments to gather details for accurate quoting. • Prepare detailed, competitive estimates based on scope, labor, and materials. • Develop and present professional quotes to clients in a timely manner. Invoicing & Documentation: • Track time, materials, and change orders throughout the project for accurate billing. • Ensure timely invoicing and documentation. • Maintain organized project records. Qualifications • Journeyman Electrician License (State of Idaho or reciprocal state) • 4+ years of field experience as a journeyman electrician • Proven experience with project oversight and client communication • Strong skills in estimating, quoting, and invoicing electrical projects • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction documents • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Proficient with basic project management tools and estimating software • Valid driver's license and clean driving record Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour Benefits: • Paid time off • Parental leave • Relocation assistance Work Location: In person
