Maintenance Electrician - 3rd Shift

JOB SUMMARY The Maintenance Electrician supports overall Industrial Electrical duties for the site including troubleshoot equipment, preventative maintenance and electrical audits. Responsible for electrical repair and installation as well as minor mechanical repair and installation in all fields. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES • Perform all job duties and operations in a safe manner, while following all federal, state, and Litehouse regulations and policies • Read and use electrical prints and troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as multi-meters, mega-meter, etc. • Performs projects and troubleshoots on different voltages 480 VAC, 240 VAC, 120 VAC, and low voltage 24VDC working with different electrical components and panel building. • Troubleshoot various electrical issues within machines, plant controls and the electrical infrastructure that affect the plant operations. • Performing electrical preventive maintenance, repair, and other technical activities for the following: Building electrical systems, including power distribution and critical power systems such as UPS and generators. HVAC systems, including determining the frequency of PM and repair, reviewing logs as necessary, and escalating any problems or malfunctions with electrical components. • Conduct electrical audits of assets to ensure working as designed. Implement solutions to identified gaps. • Work with Maintenance team to install new equipment and wiring to expand infrastructure as needed • Respond to line calls and support plant repairs of a non-electrical nature as required. • Input to equipment design, as it relates to electrical and control considerations. • Record and report daily activities. • Perform parts research to identify exact replacements or upgraded components when applicable. • Responsibility to adhere to Food Safety policies and report food safety and quality concerns to their supervisor. • Maintains clean work area and participates in housekeep throughout the facility and grounds IDEAL CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS • Instrumentation and controls experience preferred. • Familiar with Allen Bradley and other common controls systems preferred • Food manufacturing experience preferred EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE • Must have current applicable state electrical qualification to perform new installations • 3 - 5 years' Electrical troubleshooting • 3-5 years' experience with electrical installations and modifications. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS • Familiar with various brands of devices and electronics such as VFD's, I/O and so on. • Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
