Work Schedule: Start times, break times and work hours vary per site and stage of our projects. GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Construction Wireman to join our team! This is an entry-level position and no prior experience is required. The Construction Wireman will be responsible for installing, connecting, and testing electrical wiring and equipment. This includes running conduit, pulling wire, and connecting switches, outlets, and other electrical components. The Construction Wireman will also be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing any electrical issues that may arise. They commonly work with a team of other technicians to install new equipment or repair existing systems. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Pick-up and deliver materials and equipment to job sites, as needed. • Ensure all tools, equipment, and vehicles are put away and secured at end of business. • Assist with shop facilities maintenance, as needed. • Provide overall field support for electrical crews. • Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential homes, commercial building, or industrial settings. • Troubleshoot problems with existing electrical systems in order to determine appropriate solutions for repair. • Install or repair wires and cables to provide power to buildings or machinery. • Install wiring devices, such as light fixtures, electrical panels, thermostats, smoke detectors, intercom systems, and more. • Repair electrical equipment, such as motors, generators, breakers, transformers, wiring, and circuit boards. • Test electrical equipment for proper functioning after repairs are complete. • Other duties as assigned.
