Electrician Apprentice/Journeyman

Kindt Electric is seeking a qualified, dependable Electrician. We provide installation and service for commercial, industrial, agricultural and residential projects and have been in the area for over 15 years. Work involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical/electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment to NEC code. Must be successful in managing time and a team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Demonstrate safe work habits, comply with company safety requirements • Measure, cut and bend conduit • Pulls electrical wire and cable in conduit using manual and power equipment • Moves/handles various equipment and spools of wire • Installs electrical raceways and wire, conduit, lighting fixtures, controls & devices, machinery and electrical distribution equipment under the supervision of Journeyman • Installs and bends conduit • Demonstrates proper use of tools and material • Assist co-workers • Requires knowledge of process, procedures, and methods • Requires the use of common courtesy in every contact with employees, clients, and general public • Night/weekend work as required • Work as required in varying weather climates • The ability to travel out of town and stay overnight as required Physical Requirements: • Must be able to physically lift up to and in excess of 75 lbs. • Repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers • Properly don Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) • Ability to climb and work on ladders and/or scaffolds • Work a ten hour day Education/Experience: Associate's degree or equivalent from trade technical school; or one or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Electrical and Instrumentation Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of various instrumentation and control systems. This role requires a strong background in electrical systems, calibration, and customer service, as well as the ability to work independently in the field. Experience • Proven experience in field service roles related to instrumentation or electrical systems is preferred. • Familiarity with calibration processes and troubleshooting techniques for various types of instruments like flow meters, level sensors, temperature sensors, pressure sensors, etc. • Experience with industrial automation brands like Endress & Hauser, ABB, Honeywell, Spectra, Siemens, etc. • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information to necessary parties. • Experience working with Studio 5000, Contrologix, FactoryTalk, Ignition, etc. • Knowledge of low voltage systems and logic controllers is advantageous. • A background in E & I projects will be considered an asset.
