About the position Responsibilities • Perform and inspect preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and repair of electrical components and power systems. • Assist with troubleshooting, replacing, and testing malfunctioning electrical components on electrical power systems. • Inspect, clean, treat for corrosion, and perform operational checks on electrical infrastructure, transformers, and motors with supervision. • Install conduit following code standards and professional workmanship with general supervision. • Analyze and repair components using conventional and digital multi-meters, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and hand tools. • Install bus duct, switchgear, QO panels, and main switches with supervision. • Ensure all work is completed safely, correctly, professionally, and timely, including documentation and clean-up responsibilities. • Account for time on work orders ensuring proper labor utilization. • Follow up and provide feedback on work orders. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent GED; a 2-year degree or state of Iowa licensure preferred. • 1 year of WEI electrical experience. • Basic understanding of concepts and applications of electrical and power directives. • Adequate communication, math, computer, and problem-solving skills. • Capable of generating and processing work on a computerized maintenance management system. • Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings. Maintenance Instrumentation/Electrician Technician

About the Role: An established ethanol production facility near Le Mars is seeking a Maintenance Instrumentation & Electrical (I/E) Technician to support plant reliability, safety, and efficiency. This is a hands-on role working on industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, controls, and troubleshooting. Project Integrator Electrical

Responsible for leading and/or coordinating electrical projects including, but not limited to, design, estimating and/or quote requests, procurement, and provide guidance to internal and external electrical project work groups (in coordination with Electrical Supervisor). Utilizes subject matter knowledge in electrical work including National Electrical Code, electrical distribution, NFPA70E, as well as understanding of automation and controls fundamentals. • Coordinates/schedules internal and/or external electrical resources for electrical infrastructure supporting project startups, modifications, renovations, etc. Technical resource in electrical distribution areas, and will troubleshoot and provide solutions on electrical distribution systems. • Understand and /or maintain electrical distribution layouts and equipment layouts (including wiring diagrams, schematics, and functional specifications). Able to design/size circuits and related distribution requirements. • Coordinate electrical distribution focused projects (including: developing scope, project request, equipment requisition, planning/scheduling, and implementation). • Troubleshoots & provides solutions on complex project performance issues (scheduling, vendor performance; issues equipment vendors are unable to resolve). • Works with Operations, Engineering, and the production facilities to help determine technical solutions for new product concepts and capacity constraints. • Strong knowledge base of food manufacturing/process technology. Strong knowledge base/working relationship with equipment vendors and industry technical leaders. Collaborates with equipment vendors to develop new manufacturing/process technology. In addition to the responsibilities listed above, other duties may be assigned by your supervisor, as dictated by business necessity. • Associates or Bachelors degree in the Electrical or Engineering field preferred. • Journeyman or Master Electrician in the State of Iowa licensing preferred. • Minimum of 5 years of electrical experience in a commercial or manufacturing environment. • At least 2 additional years of project management experience in a maintenance and/or manufacturing environment. • Advanced knowledge in electrical distribution methods and equipment, to include: National Electrical Code NFPA 70E Circuit sizing methods Blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics Motors and controls Test instruments and applications Proficient in Microsoft Office, Oracle and Project Management applications. • Project management skills. • Makes good, fact based decisions through a mixture of analysis, experience, and judgment. • Effectively identifies process steps while continuing to monitor progress, and results; designs feedback loops into work. • Understands continuous improvement methodology and incorporates it into all areas of work. • Must possesses effective communication, organization and time management skills. • Ability to lead, influence and work collaboratively across various functions. • Reports to Manager - Engineering Services • Direct Reports - N/A • Indirect Reports - N/A Wells Enterprises is an EEO/AA employer M/F/Vet/Dis
