Electrical Technician - Manufacturing Team Overview: We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician with hands-on experience in wiring electrical panels and components to join our manufacturing team. This role is critical to ensuring the safe and efficient assembly of control, communication, and power distribution units. Responsibilities: - Assemble and wire electrical components based on schematics and technical drawings. - Build and install control panels, communication systems, and power distribution units. - Perform point-to-point continuity tests and verify system functionality before deployment. - Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in installed equipment. - Maintain accurate documentation of wiring configurations and test results. - Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to optimize panel performance. - Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies. Requirements: - Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints. - Experience with both DC and AC systems (single and three-phase). - Skilled in cable terminations including crimping and soldering. - Familiarity with hand tools and handheld power tools. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship. - Effective communication skills and fluency in verbal and written English. - Proven experience in control panel assembly and troubleshooting. - Excellent attendance and adherence to company procedures. Desired Qualifications: - 5+ years of hands-on experience in electrical panel wiring or industrial control systems. - Vocational or technical training in electrical engineering or related fields. - Familiarity with industry standards such as NEC, NFPA, and UL.
