JOB FUNCTIONS • Wire electrical control panels according to specifications. • Execute plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning packaging equipment. • Install electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment. • Install safety and distribution components (e.g. pneumatic solenoid valves, switches, photo eyes, control panels etc.) • Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components (24 VDC to 480 VAC 3 Phase). • Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc. • Forming electrical circuits, by connecting electrical wires to components and fixtures and testing completed circuits • Installing switches, circuit breaker panels, relays, and other electrical control and distribution equipment. • Installing hangers and brackets to support electrical products. • Performing maintenance procedures to keep wiring, lighting, and control systems in good working order. • Inspecting circuit breakers, transformers, and other electrical components for faults. • Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions. • Utilize and abide by ISO requirements and safety procedures. • Demonstrate adeptness in troubleshooting electrical systems to identify and resolve issues promptly. • Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to ensure projects are completed on schedule and meet the highest quality standards. • Actively seek opportunities for process improvement and innovation to enhance productivity and efficiency. • Perform other such duties as may be required.
