About the Role As an Electrical Apprentice at Zekelman Industries in Midland, TX you will play a key role in supporting electrical installations and maintenance that drive plant efficiency and ensure safe operations. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in physically demanding environments, and is eager to grow within the skilled trades through on-the-job learning and mentorship. Shift: Full Time Pay: Based on Experience What You’ll Do • Assists licensed electricians with installations, repairs, and alterations of electrical systems and components • Organizes and maintains tools, materials, and equipment in a clean, orderly fashion • Bends and installs conduit to support system layouts and equipment connections • Installs and terminates electrical equipment, including switchgear, panels, starters, and light fixtures • Troubleshoots and assists in repairing various electrical systems • Reads and applies Safety Rules, Policies, and MSDS requirements to daily tasks • Maintains safe work habits and uses proper care of tools and protective equipment • Works from ladders, lifts, scaffolds, and other elevated platforms safely and effectively Who You Are • 0–1 years of experience in electrical work, preferably within industrial or construction environments • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) • Willingness to apply for and maintain a State of Texas Electrical Apprentice License • Basic understanding of electrical safety practices and procedures • Ability to read blueprints and follow verbal/written instructions • Strong work ethic with the ability to perform physical labor in all weather conditions • Excellent organizational and teamwork skills Physical Abilities • Capable of lifting and carrying over 50 pounds • Able to crawl, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and work in confined spaces • Comfortable working at heights up to 90 ft. using ladders, lifts, or scaffolding • Requires repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers • Able to work 8+ hours per day, including overtime and possible night shifts • Must have reliable transportation to job sites What You’ll Get Zekelman Industries offers competitive compensation and excellent benefits, including low-cost, high-quality medical and dental benefits. Electricians

Brief Description The Electrician will work independently and with other department personnel to perform preventative, predictive and routine maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting issues and general repair of drilling equipment. This position will report directly to the Electrical Supervisor. Essential Functions To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Prioritize, schedule, and complete incoming work requests while providing a safe work environment and a high level of customer satisfaction. • Perform scheduled and proactive maintenance on drilling equipment to ensure a high level of operation. • Compile information from walk-through assessments to proactively resolve any issues in order to maintain world-class facilities. • Coordinate needed repairs, manage equipment replacement, and oversee vendor performance. • Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment. • Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, drilling systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of equipment does not deteriorate. • Assemble, install or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components. • Diagnose electrical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and part catalogs as necessary. • Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. • Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, city, state and federal guidelines. • Other duties as assigned. Compensation: $51/hour total compensation----> $27/hour and $192 a day in per diem OT as required, paid time and a half on taxable rate Responsibilities • Work as part of a production team to assemble parts. • Sort and place materials or items on tables, racks, or bins. • Assemble satellite sub-assembly parts manually. • Use various hand tools, measuring, and test equipment. • Clean assembled parts and place them in protective bags or boxes. • Pack, seal, and move boxes. • Pick up, move, and sort small parts. • Use small tools and jigs to manipulate parts for assembly. • Perform other related duties as assigned by management. Qualifications • High school diploma or GED. • Associate degree or certificate in a technical area. • Experience in assembly or manufacturing. • High aptitude for working with small electronics, including soldering small electrical components or mechanical equipment. • Experience in the space or aeronautical field. • Proficiency in assembly and blueprint reading. • Experience with wiring and/or structure assembly. • Skill in using hand and power tools. • Understanding of sheet metal repair and assembly.
