Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent. • Minimum 2 years oilfield electrical experience. • Excellent English communication skills: both written and verbal. • Work both independently and as a team-player. • Problem-solving experience in oilfield electrical equipment. • Must be willing and able to travel to field locations. • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics. • Will be required to submit/release to a background screening prior to employment. • Pre-employment Drug/alcohol testing is required (along with randoms per industry standards). • MUST have and maintain valid state-issued driver’s license, be eligible to drive a Company vehicle, and meet the requirements of the Company’s vehicle program, policy and/or guidelines. Preferred Qualifications • Current TDLR Journeyman License • Bilingual is a plus (Spanish preferred). • Current on Industry courses and training (H2S, Safeland, FirstAid/CPR, etc). • Previous experience working around drilling rigs or electrical distribution systems (low to medium voltages). Essential Skills/Physical Requirements/Working Conditions The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Lifting/carry up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently, and 5 to 10 lbs daily. Must be able to use/wear applicable personal protective equipment which may include but is not limited to safety-toed footwear (with ankle height support), hearing protection, safety eyewear with side shields, gloves, and hard hat.
