As an Electrician Technician, your role, in the bigger picture, is to manage the preventative and predictive maintenance to improve the functionality and safe working order of our manufacturing equipment and machinery. You will handle projects that span the electrical, mechanical and automation maintenance challenges. We’ll always challenge you to think: What’s Next? • Troubleshoot, repair and PM all electrical equipment in the factory safely. • Meets all Safety, Health, Quality and Environmental requirements when performing job duties. • Participates in continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis. • Use basic diagnostic equipment including volt/ohm meter, wiggie, ammeter and megger. • Install conduit, raceways, fittings, etc. • Design, program and troubleshoot plant programmable logic controllers, input/output devices and associated equipment. • Applied knowledge of single phase and (3) phase electrical power, basic PLC programming and ability to diagnosis and repair electrical circuits in a high volume manufacturing environment. • Must be willing to work overtime, weekends and back shifts as required. Requirements • High School Diploma or GED equivalent • 2+ years industrial electronics or related electrical experience • Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures The approximate pay for this position is $32.81/hour.
