Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Must be 18 years of age or older. • Must have completed high school or a GED equivalency test. • Completion of a formal apprenticeship program required with classroom work and on-the-job training is preferred. • Must have code knowledge. • Passed exams on the National Electrical Code, local and state codes and electrical theory as well as continuing education in order to meet licensure requirements. • Ability to learn new technology. • 5 years or more in documented field experience in chosen craft discipline with ability to read and interpret instructions and document, plan and perform work activities independently. • NCCER certifications written and/ or practical are strongly preferred. • Experience providing leadership, instructions and guidance to other craft workers in work crew, while working in the capacity of a journeyman. • OSHA 10 Hour preferred.
