We are seeking a highly skilled Master Electrician to lead and oversee electrical installations for a new commercial construction project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, installing, and maintaining electrical systems, ensuring compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee and execute electrical installations in commercial new construction projects from start to finish. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate system installations. • Ensure compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code), state, and local regulations. • Perform inspections and troubleshoot electrical systems to ensure functionality, safety, and adherence to project specifications. • Supervise and train electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors, ensuring high-quality workmanship. • Plan and coordinate electrical work schedules, materials, and manpower requirements. • Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to maintain efficient workflow. • Conduct tests on electrical systems and components to detect and resolve malfunctions. • Maintain detailed records of work completed, including permits, inspections, and compliance documentation. • Ensure all work is completed safely, following OSHA and company safety guidelines. Qualifications & Requirements: • Master Electrician License (State-issued, valid, and in good standing). • 1+ years of experience as a Master Electrician, preferably in commercial new construction. • Extensive knowledge of NEC, local codes, and industry best practices. • Strong leadership and team management skills. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documents. • Proficient in using electrical tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic devices. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication and organizational skills. • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting, climbing, and working in various weather conditions. • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. • OSHA 10 certification.
