Industrial Electricians - TWIC Required

Craftsmen Contractors is looking to hire experienced Industrial Electricians for the Pascagoula, Mississippi area. You will need to have a current TWIC Card and will have to pass a pre-employment drug screen. The work is for 4 year project - demo and new construction of a facility. The work schedule is Monday thru Friday working day shifts and the project will be starting around September 8th. Pay is $28 - $33/hr. depending on experience No per diem is offered. Responsibilities: • Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical equipment and associated electrical and electronic controls. • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations. • Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fibre-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components. • Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance. • Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors. • Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices. • Utilize hand tools, power tools, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other equipment for electrical work. • Bend and install conduit (EMT & rigid). • Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records. • May install, maintain and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment on construction sites. Requirements: • Will need to have a current TWIC Card. • Pass a pre-employment drug screen. • At least 2 years of Industrial Electrician experience is required. • Experience bending conduit (EMT & rigid) • Need to have basic hand tools, all PPE and reliable transportation. • Authorized to work in the US.
