Position Summary: The Offshore Electrician is an experienced professional who supports our E&I offshore team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, including both high and low voltage applications. This role involves working on various offshore projects, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring that all electrical installations are safe, efficient, and compliant with industry standards. The Electrician will utilize their expertise in blueprint reading and hands-on experience with power and hand tools to effectively complete tasks. Key Responsibilities: · Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in an offshore setting. · Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems. · Work with high voltage systems as well as low voltage applications, ensuring proper installation and safety protocols are followed. · Perform general maintenance that involves electrical work, including rewiring existing structures. · Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during installation and repair tasks. · Troubleshoot electrical issues using logic controllers to diagnose problems accurately. Qualifications: • Licenses/Certifications: • TWIC Card (REQUIRED) • NCCR (Preferred) • Required Experience: o High school diploma or equivalent. o Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role within the electrical field. o Familiarity with industrial electrical systems is highly desirable. o Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications. o Proficient in the use of various power tools and hand tools related to electrical work. o Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices within the industry. o Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on complex projects.
