Responsibilities: For Journeyman Electricians: • Installation and Maintenance: Execute the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in compliance with applicable codes and standards. • Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to apprentice electricians. Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure project success. • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently. Conduct thorough inspections to identify and address problems. • Safety: Prioritize and enforce safety protocols on job sites. Conduct safety assessments and implement corrective actions as necessary. For Apprentice Electricians: • Learning and Development: Assist Journeyman Electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and industry knowledge. • Blueprints and Documentation: Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Assist in maintaining accurate records of work performed. • Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines. Report potential hazards and actively participate in creating a safe work environment. Qualifications: For Journeyman Electricians: • Valid Journeyman Electrician license. • Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician. • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and codes. • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Effective communication and leadership abilities. For Apprentice Electricians: • Enrolled in or completed an electrical apprenticeship program. • Basic understanding of electrical systems and components. • Eagerness to learn and contribute to team success. • Commitment to safety and following guidelines. Education: • High school diploma or equivalent. Certifications: • Valid Journeyman Electrician license (for Journeyman Electricians). This facility manufactures corrugated packaging products for local and national customers.We are looking for motivated individuals who are capable of performing a multitude of functions in a flexible, fast-paced production environment. Our workplace requires individuals who understand the needs of the business while maintaining a focus on safety, customer satisfaction, quality and productivity. Specific responsibilities include maintaining production equipment to optimize runnability through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of machines. Candidates for consideration should have troubleshooting skills in industrial, electrical (PLCs, A/C & D/C motors and drives, reading schematics), hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical failures and the aptitude to correct those failures. Accurately completing administrative documents and following directions are important work traits. Candidates must demonstrate technical experience, reliability and the ability to work independently. Candidates must be willing to work alternative shifts, weekends and overtime as required. Minimum qualifications for consideration are a high school degree (or equivalent experience) and five years of maintenance experience with at least one year with the same employer. Highly-qualified candidates would possess a technical degree or apprenticeship certification and maintenance experience in the corrugated industry or similar manufacturing environment.
