Journeyman Electrician

Job Title: Electrician Job Summary: Installing conduit, wiring, lighting fixtures, panel boards, etc. Test and terminate all wiring. Perform functional testing of electrical equipment. Essential Functions (Include but not limited to): 1. Read & understand plans, specs, wiring schematics 2. Install conduit & wiring 3. Install light fixtures, switches, & receptacles 4. Hook up motor starters, motors & motor control centers 5. Properly use necessary tools to complete daily tasks 6. Practice safety methods & standard housekeeping to keep jobsite clean & safe Prefer a minimum of five years of electrical experience. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. and climb ladders and stairs when necessary. Must have a valid driver’s license, transportation and personal vehicle insurance. Industrial Electrician – Immediate Start Available Southeastern Timber Products Ackerman, MS Southeastern Timber Products is searching for talented and qualified Industrial electricians who have proven experience with industrial electrical systems and repairs. This role would require the personnel to be responsible for preventive maintenance, electrical device’s/component’s repair, understanding electrical schematics / drawings, interpreting blueprints, installing/replacing electrical equipment including but not limited to VFD’s, motor starters and Field devices/Photo Eyes, troubleshooting machine breakdowns using Allen Bradley PLC, assisting mill rights when needed etc. The ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of Low and High voltage circuits ranging from 24VDC to 480VAC, Basic PLC knowledge and navigation skills, Strong troubleshooting skills including hardwired electrical circuits as well as PLC based, very good communication skills, self-motivated individual who always keeps safety first.
