Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Equipment Technician to join our team. Senior Electrical Protection and Controls Specialist

Job Title: Senior Electrical Protection and Controls Engineer Work Place Flexibility: Hybrid Legal Entity: Entergy Services, LLC This posting is for a potential future opening(s) with Entergy. This posting is to build a candidate pool, should the opening(s) become available. Job Description As Senior Electrical Protection and Controls Engineer, you will assist the capital project construction function for the Capital Projects - Project Delivery business unit with focus on transmission and distribution system protection commissioning. You will provide technical support and governance over the commissioning oversight personnel/commissioning teams working on power delivery capital projects. Shall possess the ability to quickly understand the culture of construction as well as mentoring/coaching others in the field executing construction activities. This position requires a SME in Power system protection and controls testing and commissioning activities who is very knowledgeable testing the protective relays, RTU, and DFR equipment. It also requires a very good understanding of Entergy/Industry commissioning processes, NERC CIP compliance, and documentation requirements. The ideal candidate will be able to work and make decisions under tremendous pressure and has to work hand in hand with commissioning crews and oversight personnel on day to day basis. Also this position has to strongly embraces continuous improvement and is constantly developing the construction leadership and functional capabilities required for Entergy to achieve commissioning excellence in construction projects across a series of transmission and distribution construction portfolios, and others as needed.
