Key Responsibilities • Communicate effectively with management, customers, and team members. • Work on a Journeyman level in the installation, operation, maintenance, modification, service and repair of electrical systems, equipment, fixtures, and related electro-mechanical systems. • Inspects and tests elements of electrical systems to locate and diagnose faults and malfunctions, performs required repairs through replacement of inoperative parts or re-wiring of circuits. • Calculates branch circuit loads, interprets electrical wiring diagram and schematics, and determines methods and requirements for wiring circuits. • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical issues in existing industrial systems. • Conduct routine maintenance to ensure the safety and efficiency of electrical equipment. • Troubleshoot and maintain industrial electrical systems, including motors, relays, drives, starters, and network structures. • Understand functionality and have the ability to troubleshoot programmable logic controller systems (PLCs) and variable frequency drives (VFDs). • Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes. • Follow strict safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and lockout/tagout procedures. • Provide excellent customer service by understanding client needs and offering expert recommendations. • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including system updates and compliance reports. Qualifications • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the industrial maintenance electrical field, with a Journeyman Electrician license preferred. • Required: Controls and motors experience in industrial settings. • Required: A valid driver's license and reliable transportation. • Required: Ability to commute or relocate to mid-Missouri before starting • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and repairs. • Ability to interpret blueprints and follow safety protocols. • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
