This positions primary duties are the oversight of facility utility equipment such as motor control centers, variable frequency drives, generators, boilers, chillers, air compressors, etc. Additional duties involve installation, maintenance, assembly, repair, replacement, and adjustments of contactors, relays, light fixtures, etc. Essential Responsibilities: • Follow all Safety rules and regulations • Monitors all DDC (Direct Digital control) activities. • Performs checks on chillers, boilers, air handlers, electrical motors, VFD's, water heaters, exhaust fans, autoclaves, washers, dryers, etc. • Maintain/repair/replace irrigation system. Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists maintenance workers in solving work problems. • Demonstrates attention to detail, good comprehensive and analytical skills, and excellent organizational skills. • Operates a variety of equipment such as hand tools, computers and diagnostic hardware to perform work. • Required to occasionally lift 40 pounds • Must be able to wear a full-face respirator with accompanying PPE and perform duties if needed • Rotational weekend schedule • Other duties as assigned by Lead or Management Minimum Qualifications: • 2+ years of work experience with facility maintenance LOGZONE is an equal opportunity employer. Primary focus is on utility equipment such as motor control centers, VFDs, generators, boilers, chillers, air compressors, and more. The role also includes general electrical work like installing and maintaining light fixtures, relays, and wiring. Essential Responsibilities: • Follow all safety procedures and regulations. • Monitor and troubleshoot Direct Digital Controls (DDC). • Perform routine checks and repairs on equipment: chillers, boilers, air handlers, motors, VFDs, exhaust fans, autoclaves, washers, dryers, and water heaters. • Maintain and repair irrigation systems. • Assist other maintenance staff in resolving technical problems. • Use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and computers to perform repairs. • Occasionally lift up to 40 pounds. • Wear PPE including full-face respirator in toxic areas, if needed. • Participate in weekend and on-call rotations. • Perform other duties as assigned. • Must keep clean shaven to be able to wear a full-face respirator General Duties: • Operate and maintain facility systems and equipment. • Install and repair electrical wiring, conduit, and piping. • Troubleshoot hot water systems, boilers, and autoclaves. Minimum Qualifications: • 4 years of journeyman-level experience in industrial maintenance. • Associate degree or equivalent in industrial electricity or a related field preferred Additional Qualifications: • Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams and blueprints. • Experience working with PLCs, VFDs, and motor control systems. • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety procedures (e.g., NEC, OSHA, Lockout/Tagout). • Comfortable using diagnostic tools such as multimeters and circuit testers. • Skilled at performing preventive maintenance and documenting work clearly. • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. • Able to prioritize tasks and remain flexible during urgent repairs. • Willingness to keep learning and stay current with equipment and safety practices. Electrician 1st Class Summary: • Complete assigned tasks in a safe manner by wearing all required PPE, and by adhering to all applicable safety requirements and standards of the company, customer, and/or regulatory group. • Recognize QA requirements, and report any circumstances that need attention to the QA Department or immediate supervisor. • Identify processes that will have to be accomplished at the shop and fill out all necessary paperwork. • Communicate with the supervisor, customer, or designated representative to coordinate specific job-related aspects and ensure job continuity. • Follow company, and customer policies, regulations, procedures, and other necessary requirements.
