Chief Electric Engineer The Frankfort Plant Board is seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to serve as the Chief Electric Engineer. The primary focus for this position will be performing professional type engineering management with respect to electric distribution and transmission systems; providing technical assistance to the public and engineering staff, Plant Board contractors and other departments; supervising system planning and design to include extension of electric facilities; performing studies, modeling, and mapping. Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Electric Engineering from an accredited college or university plus at least 9 years of relevant experience. Must possess and maintain registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Kentucky or be able to receive registration within six months from the date of hire. Must possess and maintain a valid Kentucky Driver’s License. Must be able to respond to emergencies at all hours consistent with departmental travel time policy or be willing to relocate.
