The Job You Will Perform: This position will assist journeymen-level Electrical/Instrumentation maintenance technicians in routine maintenance work as well as performing many duties independently. Vicksburg Forest Products is now embarking on its next phase of growth with significant upgrades throughout the mill along with the addition of a high-speed chip-n-saw line, taking the mill to a production capacity of 180 million board feet annually. This highly skilled role creates value by performing a variety of electrical systems and maintenance duties, while ensuring maximum facility uptime to meet production goals. This position requires knowledge of and hands-on-experience with the following technologies: instrumentation, electronics, lubrication, hydraulics, power transmission, mechanics, steam, welding and pneumatics.
