Job Responsibilities: • Performs corrective maintenance on electrical & electronic equipment in accordance with manufacturer's recommended procedures & specifications to ensure proper operation & minimize downtime of critical electrical & electronic equipment. • Performs preventive maintenance procedures on all operating Electrical & Electronic equipment as recommended by equipment manufactures , standard engineering practices, & hospital policies & procedures to ensure continued equipment operation & minimize unscheduled corrective maintenance. • Performs shutdown & startup procedures on equipment as recommended by equipment manufacturers, standard engineering practices, local utility companies & hospital policies & procedures to ensure efficient equipment operation, maximize efficiency, & extend equipment life. • Inspects electrical equipment & mechanical spaces as assigned, corrects deficiencies & cleans as necessary as required by OSHA, Electrical Standards, hospital policies, & as directed by superiors to ensure proper equipment operation & that mechanical spaces & work areas are kept clean & safe. • Performs minor construction, installation & alterations for new & existing Electrical systems. Recommends system & procedural improvements to Foreman to ensure maximum performance & efficiency of both equipment & maintenance staff. • Completes assigned goals.
