What you’ll do: Eaton’s IS AER FMC division is currently seeking an Electrical Maintenance A. The hours for this role are 3:30 pm - 12:00 am. KEY ACCOUNTABLITIES: • Perform electrical repairs on equipment and in plant power distribution systems in all areas of the facility. • Perform troubleshooting of electrical and electro/mechanical equipment. • Construction and installation of new control circuits and power distribution systems. • Perform routine maintenance, I.E. replacing electrical components, motors, lights, wiring, etc., as necessary to ensure equipment preventative maintenance schedules are performed. • Perform electrically related TPM program maintenance related functions as required. • Interpret and work from schematics, blueprints and specifications. • Perform duties as assigned to ensure the continued operation and timely repair of equipment which would include making requests for repair parts, maintaining inventories of repair parts and rebuilding units for repair parts inventory. • Maintain a safe working environment and a clean work area. • Report on job progress and log hours in the maintenance tracking system. • Other duties as required within the job classification and duties of lower classifications. Qualifications: PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Associate degree in Electrical Maintenance Technology from an accredited college or vocational school preferred • Electronic Technician experience including Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) exposure preferred • Two (2) years of experience applying National Electric Code (NEC) in a work or academic setting preferred BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: • High school diploma or GED required • One of the following types of electrician experience required: o Electrician Degree or certification from an accredited institution or Journeyman program o Five (5) years of work experience as an electrician in an industrial or military environment • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
