Seeking experienced and dedicated full-time Journeyman Electricians to work as leaders and to perform and mentor quality work in various areas of the field – such as Commercial, Residential, Industrial, and Service. Duties and Responsibilities: • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems and components in residential homes, commercial buildings, and new construction sites • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine layout and installation procedures • Plan and execute the installation of conduit, wiring, circuit breakers, panels, lighting, and other electrical systems in compliance with NEC and local building codes • Troubleshoot electrical problems using appropriate testing devices and repair faulty wiring or systems • Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with OSHA standards and company policies • Collaborate with general contractors, foremen, inspectors, and other trades to coordinate work and resolve issues on-site • Upgrade existing electrical infrastructure to improve functionality or meet code requirements • Perform service calls and routine maintenance for both residential and commercial clients • Supervise and mentor apprentices, providing guidance on safety, installation techniques, and code compliance • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of work performed, time on site, and materials used • Keep tools and equipment in safe, working condition and report any maintenance needs • Stay up to date with code changes and industry best practices through continuing education and training About the Company: Jackson Electric is a trusted, full-service electrical contractor based in Sheridan, Wyoming.
