Job Specifications: • Determine appropriate actions for work performed based on written, diagrammatic, and/or verbal instructions received • Determine causes of defective performance and make repairs as needed • Replace faulty wiring and electrical components such as relays, switches, motors, VFD's, printed circuit boards, position sensing devices and maintain electrical substation equipment • Maintain current technical knowledge of government and company policies, codes and regulations • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on all electrical equipment • Responsible for following safety procedures and maintaining safety data • Adhere to all safety requirements, local NEC and NEC codes Technicial/Business Skills, Experience and Training • Must have experience in the field/plant • Must meet all WY Licensing requirements for Joureyman Electrian • Current Wyoming journeyman license or be able to reciprocate is preferred • Open to 3rd or 4th year apprentive - training available • Registration is required within 6 months of employment • Must be comfortable with computer and configuration software

Summary Of Position This position is designed to perform all basic electrical work, de-energizing large mobile mining equipment according to the isolation/lockout standards, trouble-shoot electrical systems on mobile mining equipment, plant and shop facilities, install electrical conduit, and read and interpret single-line diagrams and schematic drawings. Necessary Qualifications • Knowledge of National Electrical Code and understanding and application of mathematical and electrical formulas is essential. • Troubleshooting and repair experience with high voltage DC motors and generators. • High school diploma/GED preferred • PLC programming, troubleshooting and repair experience preferred • Technical school degree in Industrial Electronics preferred • Previous experience with large mobile mining equipment preferred • MSHA approval for surface mine electrician preferred • Physical Demands**: While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to frequently use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms.
