JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN-Killdeer

JOB DESCRIPTION: Currently looking for North Dakota licensed Journeyman Electricians to fill positions in the Bakken area of ND. Benefits Include: Up to $50/hour DOE, EMPLOYER PAYS 100% of Medical! Employer pays 80% of Dental, & Vision, Health savings plan, 2 weeks of PTO and Paid Holidays. Employer paid life insurance and other life insurance options available. Responsibilities of the Journeyman Electrician: • Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair wiring, conduits, controls, power distribution, and other electrical devices and systems. • Identify electrical requirements for heat tracing systems based on customer requirements, drawings, and specifications. • Work well with the team to develop the electrical quotes from drawings. • Utilize P&ID drawings, piping drawings, site plans, customer input, established procedures and design software tools. • Perform all other electrical duties as needed. What role you will play in our team • Electrician Position in the Bakken Oilfield, North Dakota • This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring and systems across various settings. • Responsibilities include working with a range of electrical components, from small devices to larger systems such as lighting, heating, and air conditioning. • Electricians will also troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, ensuring all systems are safe and functioning correctly. What you will do • Candidate will need to have the skills and knowledge required to install, troubleshoot and maintain plant/field instrumentation and equipment. • This includes but not limited to transmitters, valves, switches, sensors, pumps, motors, VFDs, switchgear, lighting, transformers, etc. About you Skills and Qualifications • North Dakota Journeyman license • Ability to maintain and troubleshoot electrical power and control devices at a range of voltages from 12VDC to 4160V AC • Knowledge and ability to safely work on control circuits in enclosures with other AC/DC circuits. • Ability to coordinate, communicate and work with employees from other contract companies, crafts, and or other departments to meet a common goal. • This is an extremely “hands-on” position requiring outdoor field work that also requires being part of a rotation with others to support the field on an after-hours, on-call basis. Preferred Qualifications/ Experience • Ability to read and follow loop drawings and P&ID’s to install, maintain and troubleshoot heaters, motors, heat trace and other devices in a well production facility environments.
