Minimum Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience: - Training and experience acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience in the electrical field. - Current Kentucky Electrical License Licensure & Certifications: - Training and experience acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience in the electrical field. - Current Kentucky Electrical License Preferred Qualifications: Job Duties: • 50% - 1. Assists Electrician or Master electricians in performing routine maintenance on University electrical systems • 20% - 2. Performs routine maintenance on university electrical equipment as required by established procedures. • 15% - 3. Assists in inventory control of required repair parts and tools as outlined in established procedures. • 15% - 4. Assists in time keeping, blueprint takeoffs, material lists and acquisition as required. 5. Supports the smooth and efficient operations of the department and the University.
