Summary: Electronic Repair Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electronic equipment and systems. This includes troubleshooting problems, replacing faulty components, and ensuring equipment operates correctly. They may also be involved in installing, calibrating, and testing electronic equipment. Primary Responsibility Works under the direction of the Project Controls Manager and competently performs all aspects of Electrical / Instrumentation estimator. Must be able to read and understand P&ID’s, electrical codes and standards, knowledge of industrial electrical systems and components, Equipment Layout out drawings and other types of drawings related to the fabrication and installation of electrical components and equipment. Must attend project walkdowns for pre-construction, scope definition and constructability reviews. This job requires that the estimator understands man-power loading of a project and must be able to adjust the estimate accordingly. Must be able to produce estimates for all levels of a project including studies, engineering forecast, appropriation, 50% design, and the final project estimate. The estimator will have to produce control estimates and change requests to maintain and verify the initial project scope and budget forecast. A multi-disciplined estimator is a plus. Must be able to estimate multiple projects and work closely with construction team and client representatives. Experience Required • Effective verbal and written communication skills. • Must possess the ability to multi-task and to understand the basics of all estimating functions. • Good computer skills and proficiency using estimating software including Est Web, Excel, or other approved estimating programs. • Understand man-power loading of Primavera (P6) software and constructability. Position Requirements • Provide all types of piping and mechanical estimates at every level of the project from $10K to +/- $1M . • Produce estimates utilizing the client platform (Est Web) as needed. • Provide estimates using the work breakdown structures (WBS) provided by the client in order to monitor and forecast cost. • P6 Scheduling and resource loading efforts. • Ability to create PCN’s “Project Control Notices” to revise the budget. • Provide a Control Estimate when requested by the client using P&ID’s, material quanties, etc. as provided by the client. • Support project close-out. · • Minimum Requirements • College degree or minimum five years related experience in a construction environment • Three plus years’ experience in related project controls assignments • Computer proficiency certifications a plus or equivalent education
