If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you at our Pikeville, KY plant as an Industrial Electrician on 1st shift. This role pays $26.25 per hour and is an onsite role. As an Industrial Electrician, you’ll collaborate closely with our Operations, Food Safety, and Environmental Health and Safety teams. Your role will be crucial in solving challenges and making a real difference. Plus, you’ll be part of a fun, energetic, and talented team that values your contributions. A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing • Electrical System Services - You will install, repair, and service electrical systems and source or fabricate replacement components. • Inspection and Maintenance - You are responsible for inspecting electrical components including transformers and circuit breakers and performing preventative maintenance inspections. • Technical Interpretation - You will interpret PLC ladder logic programs, blueprints, and technical diagrams and draw rough sketches and update project records. • Testing and Troubleshooting - You will use testing devices to identify and report electrical problems. You are responsible to test and troubleshoot systems, including computer setups. • Regulatory Compliance and Liaison - You will adhere to local, state, and national electric codes and OSHA regulations while being a liaison with clients, vendors, and other electricians. We’re Looking for Someone With • High school diploma or GED certificate, associate degree or technical apprenticeship preferred • Journeyman or Master Electrician license required plus at least experience in an industrial environment • Familiarity with PLC programming • Working knowledge of NEC requirements • Experience using hand tools • Mechanical skills • Ability to work on-call as needed to assist during emergencies. Update project records and preparing relevant documents and reports, u nderstand and apply blueprints and technical diagrams. Create records of materials used. • Liaise with clients, vendors, and other electricians. • Use testing devices to identify and report electrical problems. Test and troubleshooting systems. Set up and test computer systems by running cables and connecting computer jacks and plugs. • Adhere to state and local building regulations. Follow local, state, and national electric codes. Observe OSHA regulations.
