Maintenance/Electrical Technician

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: all duties must be performed in a safe manner according to company safety standards and regulations/specified NEC codes if applicable. Other duties may be assigned as directed. • Preform mechanic skills including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and simple electrical troubleshooting and repair. • Read and comprehend production equipment operations and service manuals to aid in machine troubleshooting and repair. • Perform simple machinist task. • Identify and install parts from inventory and document. • Identify high voltage and low voltage circuitry. • Perform plumbing, basic carpentry and painting task. • Maintain waste management (paper, metal, wood and chemical) • Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain clean an orderly work area. • Fabricates with metal and/or repair metal structures, includes welding and torch use. • Trains operators and/ or supervisors in the proper way to maintain / inspect machines. • Basic computer skills, including Windows, Word Processing, spreadsheets, and MPS System (Maintenance database software) and SAP. • Blueprint/schematic reading-drawing. • Preventative maintenance • Blueprint/schematic reading-drawing. • Safety – must be able to perform all requirements safely. • Perform other tasks as assigned. This job requires some reaching, kneeling, squatting, and climbing stairs.
