ELECTRIC TECHNICIAN A

TITLE: Electric Technician A POSITION OBJECTIVE: The Electrical Technician is responsible for electrical, electronics, and maintenance of all equipment. Performs other duties as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: • Industrial maintenance degree or similar from a state certified technical school or community college is required. Completion of a 4-year electrical apprenticeship can be substituted • Must have knowledge of basic industrial electrical components – relays, timers, contactors, proximity switches, etc. • Must be able to read multimeters and amp meters. • A background in industrial electronics and troubleshooting is required • Experience with PLC controls and variable speed drives is preferred • Basic computer knowledge • Must have good communication skills • Experience with PLC controls and variable speed drives is preferred • Must be able and willing to work overtime, weekends and evenings as needed. Also must be able to work on-call as needed • Must be able to read electrical schematics • The ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings is a plus • Can work with limited supervision (ie. night shift) • Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary • Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • All skills, knowledge and job duties of Electrical Technician B. • Troubleshoot and repair A/C, D/C motors, drives and inverters. • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems. • Troubleshoot and repair fire panels and alarm systems. • Correctly identify and work on any electrical cabinet in the plant. • Identify and safely work on any switchgear in the plant. • Replace non-programmable devices such as relays, contactors, timers, PLC i/o cards. • Use soldering for repairs as needed • Check and change motor rotation if needed. • Replace plant lighting and ballasts. • Check and replace fuses. • Troubleshoot electrical circuits. • Assists Maintenance technician in the lubrication and repair of mechanical equipment • Maintain all equipment in good running order • Ensure that job site is clean and free of hazards • Maintains good housekeeping and safety practices when running equipment • Interacts and communicates with Production supervisor during shift and assist on production line when needed • Maintains professional certifications and keeps updated on all procedures and policy changes; keeps training up to date • Operates all maintenance equipment safely, follows LOTO procedures at all times. SR. 1 ELECTRIC TECHNICIAN

Electrical Controls Technician I

JOB SUMMARY: The Electrical Controls Technician I is responsible for providing electrical support, including but not limited to, programming of PLCs from multiple manufacturers (AB, Bosch-Rexroth, Omron), electrical and program troubleshooting, and ongoing project support for manufacturing daily operations and improvements associated with the manufacturing systems at Iatric. ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: • Work safely and in accordance with facility safety guidelines and procedures. • Work directly with and provide daily process support to the Operations Team and HPOT teams. • Provide technical support for troubleshooting equipment and process related issues as well as continuous improvement of converting processes and equipment. This includes, but is not limited to plant electrical distribution systems, equipment or process control systems, electrical circuits, motors and drives. • Facilitate the procurement and or development of equipment and process documentation necessary to support the manufacturing operations. • Troubleshoot equipment problems and determine causes in order to implement necessary repair up to and including program modification. • Must be flexible in work schedule to support equipment downs or to provide backup shift coverage support on an as needed basis. • Demonstrate commitment to the company’s RRITE Values of Renew, Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, and Excellence. • Associates have a direct and important role in ensuring that all work is performed in a safe manner.
