The Arc Greater Hudson Valley, NY is seeking a Maintenance Specialist, Full-time in Sullivan County, NY! #Discovertherewards We provide a great team-working environment with experienced leadership and support! Location: Residences throughout Sullivan County, NY Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7am-3pm with on call responsibilities. Responsibilities for Maintenance Specialist: • Responsible for the overall appearance, cleanliness, repair, and safety of facilities assigned. • Performs maintenance/repair functions to our Residential locations as assigned, whether involving general maintenance skills or specific expertise such as electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting or any other area as required. Minimum Qualifications for Maintenance Specialist: • 2 years work experience in carpentry, electrical and plumbing preferred. Heating, painting, maintenance. • All positions require a valid, clean NYS driver’s license with a minimum of one year driving experience with a Class D license. • Physical requirements: lift at least 50 lbs, and walk, stand, push or pull, climb stairs and ladders frequently, bend, carry goods including furniture, supplies and equipment and exert all other medium to heavy physical effort.
